About Us

Lillian Fire/ Rescue was established as Lillian Volunteer Fire Department in 1982; servicing Northeast Johnson County. With an increased volume of calls related to rescue incidents and lower fire related incidents it was fitting of our department to rebrand ourselves with the Fire / Rescue name. Lillian Fire/ Rescue is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Lillian Fire/ Rescue currently services approximately 33 square miles of northeast Johnson County, bordered by Rendon Fire District, Mansfield City Limits, Venus Fire District, Alvarado Fire District, and Briar Oaks Fire District. We currently have 4 apparatus and 13 volunteer members. Currently our ISO rating is a split rating of 5/9.

Honor
It is our privilege as a department and members to be in a position to serve those in need in their most desperate time.

Integrity
We as a department and members are held to a higher standard by our community, and in trusted with personal life, property and information. Our high level of Integrity will commit to our community that everything they entrust in the department and members will be safe.

Pride
We will take pride in our Department, Station, Apparatus, and the quality of work we perform.

Customer Service
As a department and members we realize that without our community we would not have this opportunity for service. It is imperative for the existence of the department that we provide the highest level of customer service to both our internal and external customers during every emergency and non-emergency incident.

Tradition
The Fire Service is strongly wrapped in tradition. We will respect and honor the needed traditions set by those that have came before us, and set new department traditions as we grow. We will forever pay homage to those that have came before us, some paying the ultimate sacrifice to allow us the opportunity to serve our community.
