Burn Ban is now in effect!
The Johnson County Burn Ban has been issued effective immediately on 13 June 2011, a burn ban is valid for 90 days, unless rescinded or extended by the Commissioner's Court.

911 Address Signs Available Now
Can your address be seen clearly marked at the roadway? During an emergency precious moments count, and precious minutes can be wasted by emergency crews attempting to find your unmarked residence. In an effort to assist Police, Fire and EMS crews attempting to find your house in an emergency Lillian Fire/ Rescue is selling Reflective 911 Address Signs. The reflective 911 address sign is marked on each side with reflective numbers against a reflective metal background. These signs are constructed out of the same materials that are used to make street signs to ensure they remain durable through many years of use. At $20 it is a small investment to ensure emergency crews can find you in your most desperate moment.

Fire PrePlans Started
In a proactive effort to lower Lillian Fire/ Rescue's ISO rating, and increase insurance savings to district residents and business Fire Preplans will start soon. All businesses identified in our district survey will be receiving a letter explaining the process. All businesses and special hazards areas within the District will need to contact Prevention@Lillianfd.org to schedule an onsite visit for pre planning. During your scheduled site visit a facility representative will need to be present with access to all areas to escort the Firefighters.
